AI Governance Readiness
EU AI Act gap assessment
Where does your AI governance stand, and what should happen next? The assessment identifies gaps and translates them into a prioritised 90-/180-day roadmap.
When is this useful?
When AI systems have not yet been systematically inventoried, responsibilities remain unclear, or EU AI Act requirements need to be translated into practical processes.
What you receive
01 · Inventory and initial risk assessment
An overview of AI systems and use cases, their owners and an initial assessment in the context of the EU AI Act.
02 · Maturity and gaps
A review of roles, policies, controls and lifecycle processes, structured with reference to ISO/IEC 42001.
03 · 90-/180-day roadmap
Prioritised actions with owners, dependencies and decisions that need to be made.
04 · Management summary
A concise basis for decisions, covering the main findings and recommendations.
How we work
1. Agree the scope and review existing documents.
2. Interview responsible stakeholders and assess maturity.
3. Analyse gaps and prioritise actions.
4. Agree the roadmap with management.
Engagement scope
Typically three to six weeks, using document reviews, interviews and focused workshops, remotely, on site or in a hybrid format. We agree the scope and participating functions together.
The focus is governance, organisation and implementation. Legal advice, independent conformity assessment, certification and technical model validation are outside the scope of this engagement.
From assessment to implementation
If required, I support the next steps through an implementation engagement, a Governance Operating Model & AIMS, or ongoing Fractional Governance Advisory.
In an introductory conversation, we clarify your situation and the appropriate scope. Engagements are available from 2 November 2026.
